BEA Frag Plug

• PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

BEA FRAG PLUG are coral cutting bases developed for professional use by the BEA team.

Handcrafted with non-toxic and inert materials (they do not alter the pH and do not release any harmful substances), they are colored with natural pigments to simulate the presence of coralline algae and reduce the visual impact once inserted into the aquarium.

BEA FRAG PLUGs are characterised by high resistance and a high specific weight which allows them to resist the currents required for SPS breeding.

Their porous and rough surface and the material from which they are produced favors the rooting of the cutting and colonization by the coral tissue.

Their shape is optimised to exploit all the space
available on professional cutting grids.

The presence of the foot allows for better positioning on the grids, greater resistance to currents and the possibility of wedging the bases into the rock or placing them directly on the sandy substrate without the risk of them being continually overturned by currents or animals.

• HOW TO USE

Apply a small amount of glue (cyanoacrylate, two-component epoxy, polymer) and hold the coral in place for a few minutes, depending on the setting time of the glue.

The 2.0 cm long foot can be removed simply by applying lateral pressure.

barriers, safeguarding rare genetics.
