Typology

BEA MESOCOSMO TISBE is a high-density live marine zooplankton culture.
Allows you to feed your corals with a live, superior quality food.

Composition

Tisbe sp., Tisbe battagliai and other species of mesoplankton, microplankton and probiotics.

Effectiveness

  • Colonizes rocks, substrates, and DSBs thanks to the benthic nature of copepods
  • Supports biological balance in new or unstable systems
  • Contributes to biological competition against dinoflagellates, cyanobacteria, and bacterial clusters
  • Strengthens the structural microfaunal component of the reef
  • Provides highly functional live food for corals and micro-predators
    Biological stability and ecological competition

Ideal for integrating into resolution protocols for dinoflagellates and cyanobacteria, thanks to their ability to compete with these problematic organisms for nutrients and biological niches, helping to restore the biological balance of the aquarium.

Features and format

1L bag / 5L canister
The particle size varies from 50 to 600 microns.

Dosage

For a medium-populated 200-litre aquarium, administer 100-200 ml every other day.

Dose when lights out.

For new aquarium and refugium setups, use up to 5L per 200L.

    • PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

    BEA MESOCOSMO TISBE

Tisbe-dominant culture, in a mixed consortium with active bacterial enhancement.

BEA MESOCOSMO TISBE is a specific formulation predominantly featuring benthic copepods of the genus Tisbe spp., integrated into a mixed consortium with an actively functional bacterial component.

A targeted solution to strengthen benthic biodiversity and consolidate the biological stability of the system.

    Combines in a single solution:

    ✔ Resilient benthic copepods, Tisbe-dominant
    ✔ Mixed microfaunal consortium
    ✔ Active bacterial enhancement

    Why choose BEA MESOCOSMO TISBE?

    • Colonizes rocks, substrates, and DSBs thanks to the benthic nature of copepods
    • Supports biological balance in new or unstable systems
    • Contributes to biological competition against dinoflagellates, cyanobacteria, and bacterial aggregates
    • Strengthens the structural microfaunal component of the reef
    • Provides highly functional live food for corals and micro-predators
      Biological stability and ecological competition

Benthic copepods of the genus Tisbe are extremely adaptable and resilient organisms, capable of stably settling in the micro-cavities of rocks and sandy substrates.

Their activity, combined with active bacterial enhancement, contributes to:

    • Improving organic turnover
    • Occupying available ecological niches
    • Promoting competition for nutrients and surfaces
    • Restoring natural balance conditions in the reef

    Organism size

The size range varies from 50 to 600 microns, making the product suitable for both benthic colonization and targeted nutrition of corals and small planktivorous predators.

BEA MESOCOSMO TISBE represents the strategic choice for those who wish to enhance the benthic component of their marine aquarium, consolidating stability, biodiversity, and biological control in a natural and effective way.

    • INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

For a moderately populated 200-liter aquarium, administer 100-200 ml every other day.

Dose when the lights are off.

For new aquarium and refugium setups, use up to 5L per 200L.

It is preferable to turn off the return pump and skimmer for a few minutes.

No danger in case of overdose.

The color of the culture can vary from a delicate yellow to a more or less intense green.

Note: The presence of a deposit at the bottom and small particulate fragments is completely normal and is a natural characteristic of the product.

The organisms present in Mesocosmo Tisbe are predominantly benthic and live in close contact with sandy and muddy substrates; for this reason, the content may include sediment and organic material associated with their habitat. This particulate should not be filtered or removed before use, as it represents a biologically active component of the product and contributes to the introduction of the microecosystem into the aquarium.

    Shake well before use.

    • CONSERVATION

The product can be stored in the refrigerator (6°-10°) for at least 3 weeks. It is recommended to oxygenate the contents regularly and shake it to put the organisms present back into suspension.
